Best. Easter. Ever.

Haley exclaimed it on the evening of Easter: BEST EASTER EVER!!!  We started the morning by opening up Easter baskets and eating crosses made of sausages!  Each of the kids had been allowed to pick a new outfit to wear for Easter (the ONLY day they get to pick out a new outfit for) and they were thrilled to put them on!  We went to our church's worship gathering, after which there was a bounce house and a pancake breakfast!  When we got home we all had a little "down time" (naps for the boys, playing outside for Abby and Haley, preparing things for the afternoon for me).  We spent the rest of the day just hanging out in the backyard.  Auntie Laura came over and we ate yummy food and the kids played and played with all their Easter basket goodies (no candies in there, just fun, new, summer-y toys).  We had a little Easter egg hunt, had dinner, went for a walk on the beach and then had chocolate fondue!  Really, it was such a great day!
Happy Easter:)
Look out for the silly string!
Added bonus of having fake grass; just vacuum up the silly string mess!
Seth used his chalk to draw a snowman, a bee, and a vampire (notice the teeth!).  Very Easter-y!
Squirt gun fight (and Banjo in the corner, decorated for Easter)
Smooshy fish in the water play table
Bubbles are always a hit!
Picking weeds:)
Feasting on their Easter egg hunt goodies.
Ribbon dancers!  Auntie Laura can use a hula hoop and ribbon dancer at the same time!
Fun at the beach.
So excited for fondue (the bright blue things are peeps...thank you, Mike)!
