Abby and Haley
Well, we have started calling the girls by the names we will legally change them to after they are adopted, Haley and Abigail (Abby). We really debated about Rayley or Haley, but we've decided on Haley. They are really good at responding and they both like their new names. We just can't call them Abby and Haley in front of the social worker or mom. We haven't told the grandparents yet, but I've been praying that they will be fine with it.
Anyway, here's a video of their current favorite activity (pre-name change, as you'll see).

Happy Birthday Toilet!
For some reason, anytime our girls get a treat of any kind they sing happy birthday. Yesterday Apple went poop on the toilet so she got a cookie. Here's a little video of her enjoying her cookie and singing "Happy birthday toilet"!

A Fun Picnic Lunch
Today, I had the girls help me make sandwiches to take for our picnic lunch with daddy. They loved getting to use the butter knives to spread the mayo and mustard. Plus, they looked adorable in their new aprons that their Auntie Katie made for them.
We took the sandwiches (as well as some other fun treats) to meet Carey on his lunch break and have a picnic. It was so fun and such a beautiful day. We kept wishing that there was a photographer with us, because the girls looked so cute chasing the birds (Apple always wants to hold birds) on the green grass with the gorgeous blue sky and some blossoming trees in the background.

"Watch A Movie" and Potty Time
Our sweet little Apple has become a movie addict. If you have spent more than four minutes at our house lately you've heard her ask (a thousand times) "watch a movie? No no make you nervous" (it won't make you nervous). I really think she has a one track mind. It's one of the first things she says when she wakes up in the morning and from nap as well as when Carey gets home from work or I get home from running errands.
As far as the potty goes, Rayley is the star in our house. This is her third day of no diapers and her second day of no accidents. She is so ready and it is wonderful. She's doing such a great job. Every time she goes potty on the toilet she just looks so pleased with herself. I always get a little nervous putting her in her carseat when we're going somewhere, but so far, so good:)
Oh, one quick funny story that is totally unrelated, but hilarious. Yesterday I made a statement to Apple and Carey said "Wow, that's a sentence you probably never thought you'd say". Want to know what it was? Drumroll please...."Don't eat rice out of your vagina"! Apple had eaten dinner naked, and made a big mess with her rice. Then, when we were done with dinner and I was getting ready to clean her up, I looked at her and she was squatting in her booster seat picking rice of her leg and eating it. Then, she moved further and further up her leg, and you can figure out why I had to say it. It was actually so funny that we took pictures (not of the eating...that wasn't funny) but I figured that's inappropriate to put on the blog!
