Today at Haley and Abby's preschool they got to "practice" trick or treating. It was so darling. Parents were invited, and when Carey and I got there, all the kids were sitting on the edge of the sandbox, looking as adorable as can be in their costumes. Their teacher was going over trick or treat etiquette with them (knock, say trick or treat, say thank you). When it was time, they went in groups, with parent escorts to four different doors with teachers and candy waiting for them. They went to the front and back door at the preschool, and then the front and back door at the head teacher's house (which is on the same property). Afterward everyone gathered back in the play yard and enjoyed some treats. I over heard a mom tell her son that he could have one treat and he replied "yep, and the rest is for the morning!" Abby and Haley are in the middle with the jack-o-lantern bags.
