So, our Easter was relatively good, considering that me not feeling good is really waring on ALL of us. The girls looked darling in their new Easter outfits, and we all made it out the door and to our worship gathering on time (well, two hours early, but that was on time for us since Carey's in the band). Our church choir sang and Apple wanted to be in it so badly. She just loves to sing and every week she tries to make it up onto the stage. She kept saying "me choir...later". I told her she could be in the choir when she is a little older. Anyway, she sure did sing along with them. Then, when the service ended she said (LOUDLY) "Bummer". She's a funny little one.
After the worship gathering we went home and took naps, then headed out to meet our families at the park. Sidenote: Thankfully, both my mom and father in law took lots of pictures. Hopefully I'll get some of them and can share them with y'all! We had a fun bbq, gave the girls their Easter baskets, and let them have a little Easter egg hunt. Rayley figured out quickly that it was what was in the eggs that was important, so she would find an egg, empty the contents into her basket, then put the egg back together and back on the ground. So, poor Apps kept finding empty eggs. It wasn't long before she figured out that she should shake the eggs before she put them in her basket.
