I forgot to post this little video with the camping post. This is what happened as soon as we got to our campsite and I put Seth down:

Camping

Well, we went camping last week and had so much fun (besides the nights). Carey's parents and my parents came, plus one of my brothers and my sister. The kids had fun playing in the lake, climbing on rocks, riding bikes around the campground, and playing in the hammock.
Dinner with the fam:)
You can't really tell in this picture, but they had their marshmallows a good 3 or 4 inches away from being over the fire! After holding them there for about 30 seconds, they would announce that it was done and eat it! I thought it was so funny.

The girls of the Webber family enjoying our coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. Notice that my pants are tucked into my socks...it was FREEZING at night and in the morning.
Face-plant in the dirt! I know, I'm terrible that I take pictures at moments like this!

Fun On The Ranch
Yesterday we went to the five year anniversary celebration of ERMCO (Education Resources of Monterey County) operating at Hidden Oaks Ranch. My friend's wonderful parents own the property and run ERMCO, and they so kindly invited us to join the fun. There was a bounce house, a country band, clowns making balloon animals, delicous food, and, of course, lots of animals. We had such a fun time. Thank you Gayle:)
They were pretty entranced with the clown making the balloon animals!

Sethy happily sat in his stroller and watched the band while the girls were eating.
Haley fell in love with a puppy (it kind of blends in with the ground in this picture!)
There were root beer floats for dessert, which was so fun because just that very morning at the breakfast table I was telling the girls about root beer floats and what a delicious treat they are.
Abby riding Lightning the horse.
Haley riding Abby the horse! Isn't that funny?!

A Disappointment...Sort Of
Last Friday my mother in law, Auntie Laura, the kids and I headed out to Gizdich Ranch to do some berry picking. There are blackberries at the girls' preschool, and they are really into picking them, so I thought it would be so fun to go to Gizdich. Laura and I had been looking forward all summer to taking the kids. So, we pull up and I hop out of the van only to see a sign that says "All U-Pick Fields Are Closed". What? It's the middle of berry picking season.
Anyway, we told the kids we could still get out and get a treat (Carey REALLY wanted us to bring him home a pie). So, the girls got ice cream and we took it outside to a little play area. The girls had SO much fun and didn't even care that we didn't get to pick berries.

Fun Afternoon
This afternoon, I was trying to keep everyone pretty mellow because the girls have been on a sleep strike and they were disasters (well, I was trying to keep them on the brink, rather than full-blown disasters). So, we went on a short little walk so I could try out my new triple stroller (yep, triple). We walked a little bit down Soquel Dr. to a blackberry patch I had noticed. Auntie Laura and I picked berries to the sound of Abby saying "don't fall down there", "watch out for the pokers", "be careful", "don't drop them". We went back home and sat in the sun in the front yard and enjoyed eating our treasures and reading Jamberry. The kids all got SO messy that they had to go straight to the shower (bath for Seth). It was such a fun little time with my darling kiddos:)
