Please Pass The Tea

I've decided to start having tea parties with the girls to help them learn manners. My friends Laura and Becca are helping me with it. We're going to try and have one every month, focusing on different manners each time. We had our first one last week and it was so fun. We all dressed up in fancy dresses and focused on using quiet, polite voices. The girls did pretty well, although they definitely fell apart at the end. We're going to try and time it each time to see if they are able to last longer and longer as they get older.



(Next time we might work on not drinking our tea like vodka shots!)

Happy Easter

What a fun Easter we had! We started the morning with baskets, of course.

Those pictures make me laugh because that is SO how they are! Anyway, we went to our church's worship gathering and the girls sang on the stage (Abby's dream come true).

After the worship gathering we came home, the kids took naps, then we had friends over for a fun Easter bbq and egg hunt. It was warm and beautiful and just a fun, fun day!

Sunday Beach Fun

On Sunday our church did some beach baptisms, and it was a PERFECT day for the beach. It was beautiful and warm and we had so much fun. We even found some heads in the sand that looked just like Abby and Haley!

Picnic

We had our first picnic of the year last week. We met Carey on his lunch break and went to the park near his office. We enjoyed the sun and the girls LOVED climbing a tree near our blanket.

All Packed Up!

Fun Pants!

My girls are the queens of mud at their preschool. So, a couple of weeks ago I picked them up and Abby's pants were very muddy (see above picture). Haley looked at her as they were climbing into the car and said "Looks like Abby had fun in those pants"! Then, yesterday, my mom went with me to pick the girls up, and as we were climbing in the car, she said to Abby "It looks like you had fun today." Haley turned to Abby and said "Let me see your pants, Abs"! I laughed to hard!

"Solid" Food for Seth!

Today I gave Seth his first non-breastmilk meal! It was a whopping teaspoon of liquidy rice cereal! He seemed to like it, and loved his sippy afterward. He's such a big boy:)
